The Three network was built for the internet. We carry over 40% of the UK’s mobile data traffic. We want our customers to make the most of the internet using their devices whether that’s catching up with the weekend’s goals, updating their Facebook page and Twitter feed or Skyping their mum on the bus home.
Giffgaff is the mobile network run by you. At the heart of it, we believe in something simple: ‘a better way to do mobile’. A belief that gets us up in the morning ready to challenge the old way of doing things. We’re not going to shout and stamp our feet because, with our members, we don’t need to. We’re just getting on with it. We are the David amongst Goliaths in mobile-land. We are a new way of doing things and our ambition is endless. Hence the name ‘giffgaff’, which is ye olde Scottish for mutual giving. That pretty much sums us up.
We’ve come a long way since making the first ever mobile call in the UK on 1 January 1985. Today more than 400 million customers around the world choose us.
